25 Ways in 25 Days - Donna Clawson - Stirling, Alberta
One Christmas when our children were little, we felt that we were not remembering the Saviour as we should. During a Family Home Evening in November, we each wrote on a piece of paper what gift we might give Him this Christmas and then asked the children to remember and do what they had written. We put the papers in a box and wrapped it in Christmas paper. At the appropriate time, we placed it under the tree. Christmas Eve, we opened this gift after our Nativity presentation. We read the slips of paper. All the thoughts inside were service oriented such as helping set the table or making a sibling's bed, etc. We discovered that most of the children had remembered this lesson and they were very excited to open this gift to the Saviour.
